Ya that was cheeky from Maloney. I usually like Mick Dowling but he bugged me tonight. Overall I thought it was a terible production from RTE, great performance from Magee

 

Like most sports coverage on RTE, it seems to be more about placating the egos of the pundits rather than concentrating on the actual sport itself. I find it strange that they only showed the main event live rather than having at least one live undercard contest to create some sort of suspense prior to the headliner.

 

The dance music that is on full boot between rounds has to go too

 

lads u are nit picking like a bunch of aul weeman..... i enjoyed the show and the chatter.... it helps build to the occasion... magee was class... and kiko was good... but if kiko is fighting casey next... i dont give casey much of chance as much as i like him... and i like him a lot:good

 

so you prefer listening to them babble instead of watching Long-Fitz, brendan fitzpatrick, hyland or the cubans? I dont mind the chat but there was too much of it. 13 rounds in 2 hours is all they showed and fnished 30 mins early

 

no but im happy theres at least some boxing instead of FA.... enjoy whats on and stop gurning:crying... i enjoyed the overall presentation... theres always shite with it but hey its rte ffs:good

 

Heard this alright BUT i heard its being held in the west probably castlebar with a few local lads fighting for Irish tiles..

 

that be class if it was in the west but like how many local boys cud be fightin for irish titles, be nice see coyle back in action,

 

cant believe rte didnt show the long - fitz fight . it was a craker . great nights boxing . think casey beats kiko he is not up to much after 2 rounds

 

Waldron and Barrett would be two i could think of straight away,put those on with Casey Euro title,Cruise, Donnellan amd Eade.Get coyle back for a crack at a title maybe and bobs your auntie.
Of course the three cubans who seem to be on every show and you have a full night in Breaffy.

 

Abit **** from RTE tonight. I thought Mike Perez was supposed to be fighting? They shoulduve showed Acosta, for **** sake the man is class.
