great news about lindsay getting a shot at the title and i'm sure it would be a serious step up in competition but when your getting around the stage he is you need it!

ardy can you shine some light for me on his strengths and weaknesses,i cant seem to find any footage of him,he used to fight out of the same gym as you didnt he?

should be a great 2 weeks for irish boxing in july, some top prospects involved and i must say i'm very excited about the macklin fight, just looking through gibbs' record, god leonard pierre fairly gets around, gibbs, duddy and pavlik and guess who knocked him out fastest,o yes big john :D

should be a good challenge as gibbs recently went the distance with joval a very solid operator.

the healy jamie moore fight will be a bit disappointing imo,no offense to healy but he is only a club level fighter and never really belonged in the same ring as the likes of lee,but fair play he's getting his chance and a payday i'm sure he'll be well prepared.

Martin boxed for the Immaculata club in the lower Falls area of west Belfast[I tried to box:lol: at a club called Sacrad Heart in north Belfast]. Lindsay is a former Ulster and Irish senior amateur champion, and represented Ireland at international level on numberous occassions. His pro career has been a "slow burner" chiefly due to Martin finishing a degree course at Queens University, but now he is completly focused on his boxing.Lindsay style would best be described as a well schooled box/fighter, although he has good power, he is a patient boxer, so he doesn't go looking for the big KO. I personally expect great things from him.He needs to be promoted in Ireland more[ of late he has been promoted by Banbridge born Canadian James Jardine, and has fought on Steve Moliter's undercard].

    Great scoop cormac!

Im delighted to hear Lee wants back in. Personally (aswell as most other fans of the sport) felt lee got a raw deal in the vera fight.

I think its great he wants back in the ring asap.

Im really looking forward to seeing duddy in the ring again aswell.

I'm defiantly going to the peters card.

I also feel it would be rude not to head out for egans card atmosphere should be good in talifornia with the local lads fighting
