Will look bad but business is business if Duddy can get a handier opponent for a good price he will take it,Hope he does fight Andy though would perfer to see him risking against another Irish lad than some one like Yuri Foreman. Any news on the limerick undercard? Paulie should get the weakest opponent possible as he has the euro shot next anyway why throw that away and Rogie is going to need a handy one to ease back in.Anyone heard who else is on?
I'd think Hyland needs at least a semi-live opponent before going into a title shot. By no means should he take a really, really hard fight but he'd surely need some sort of tune up before such a big fight
I reckon the lads will bring back 4 medals. Barnes will win gold! Mccarthy has a chance of gold and keep an eye on wee conlon. Serious tho I reckon there is all but 2 of the lads with a chance of a medal if the draw is favourable. Ps magherafelt was Baltic
Interview with Rogie talking about his comeback. Slappy would probably have posted it anyway but I was the first viewer and if your not fast your last...! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_YKoCGle4k[/ame]
Duddy could make quite a bit of money fighting Yuri Foreman (which Bob Arum wants to see) and that's a fight in which he would get outboxed but not hurt. Against Lee he could get hurt, although he won't be put into comatose by any means. Let's hope he accepts Lee's offer.
Duddy is on the verge of being a trial horse anyway, at least if he fights Lee he will get a decent payday.I don't give him much chance of winning unless Lee tires in the latter rounds.
Some promoter should give Chris O'Brien a fight. The guy will fight on a "tickets only" deal! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzAvrNALqsU[/ame]
Gold for Paddy, McCarty and silver for McCullough and a silver and two bronze from Gallagher, Donnelly and O'Kane. Dont know Conlon but all our lighter guys Barnes, Phelan, Burnett etc are top class so...
