Got to agree there Paulie doesnt have the power to stop willie but he does have the skills top beat him over 12 rounds IF he can stay away from Willie that long.If Hyland is not 100% conditioned he will be stopped mid to late rounds,if he has the gas for 12 then he may well win a wide points decision.

jesus I hate these sky cheerleading ****s. I'm all for being up for your own fighters but telling me one thing is happening when I'm looking at something different is a bit much

Munroe is like Frankenstein. Fair play to him for being super fit and conditioned but once you go beyond euro bums you need a bit more than a big engine. I'm surprised at Nishioka not being a bit better conditioned himself or I think he could have hurt Munroe more

Who have thought it would be the body shots that would take effect first though!

117-111 and I'm being generous there. Now who speaks Japanese to translate these scores!

Just shows the step up in class from euro to world level, cant see any of our super bantams beating Munroe any time soon and he just got his ass handed to him.

Oh Ye of little faith... the jap was very good. I'm.surprised his fitness held up cause he looked tired very early. His body shots looked technically perfect and very hurtful

Munroe never really impressed me that much even at Euro level, I feel sorry for the lad but anyone who is surprised at how badly he got beaten by Nishioka must not have watched him struggle against an old Maludrottu. Give Carl another year or so to mature into the game and I would not bet against him beating Munroe.

I don't think many are surprised except maybe Munroe himself. He was laughing away to himself while he was covering up in the first 3 rounds. Smiling and pulling faces at Nikiosha thinking that he'd blow himself out like the EBU lads have. He stopped smiling after Nishioka sunk that big right to the body in the 5th.

Munroe can only win fights if a couple of things happen a) he leans all over his opponent and uses his size to wear them down and sap their strength and b) his opponent isn't more than 10-15% technically better Munroe is.

Any slick boxer is going to give Munroe trouble. As long as that slick boxer is well conditioned and can avoid gassing then Munroe has no way to win. He has no punch power for such a physically strong fighter and he has no real skills to speak of.

It's all about who they match him in future.

You're right BamBam, he can't handle speed and he is so easy to hit it's unreal. Those bodyshots took everything out of him, I couldn't help but think how Dunne would have worked over that body with those trademark left hooks of his ;) It's such a pity that fight never happened.
