Podge, Jamie Moore won in 5rds last night. Barring injury, Moore's bout with Healy goes ahead, would that be a correct assumption.:good
Here's a boxing round-up from the Boston Herald.John Duddy and Andy Lee get a mention. http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/...articleid=1096242&srvc=othersports&position=6
No news on an opponent yet.Personnally i think Allessio Furlan would be a good choice, he made both Duddy and Macklin work for their victories over him.We would see straight away if Andy learned the lessons from the vera fight in a controlled friendly enviroment for Lee.
I know what you are saying - but thats not the reason he has been parading it. The reason its getting paraded is because Hatton fans dont know there arses fae their elbows and they just want to see that Wwwicky won a shiny trinket and that he is the "champ" - also what else is he going to show - the IBO belt??? I was at the fight last night and wasnt impressed at the way he laboured to a points win over a retired lightweight. Anyway - he's not Irish so we'll leave him to other threads
I was there that night and I havent really liked Hatton since (although I still go to his fights) because of his scum fans. The atomosphere turned nasty as soon as Hatton was down (baring in mind Farnell and Gomez hadnt just been beaten as well) however, Eamonn just shut up shop and tucked up on the same corner for six rounds to hold on for a points loss. Anyway in time honoured tradition here is the wiki I did on Eamonn - the entertainment I got out of researching this one was only beaten by the Gomez one I did. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eamonn_Magee
sure I told ya that was signed over a week ago I already banged this wee ditto out about him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Howe
Slapbangwhallop - just when I see you support Sligo - have you ever read 'There's only one red army?' well worth picking up a copy
I like Hatton, but Im not too keen on his fans also. Most of them are soccer yobs, it puts me off going to watch him.
got it when it came out - decent book alright. I grew up in the estate across the road from the SHowgrounds and was a ball boy and a season ticket holder until I left Ireland :| :| :|
Hello this is my first post and being an Irish boxing fan I thought it fitting I post here to begin.Im a big fan of Andy Lee, i hope he can get over his lose. All the best
