Munroe is a good lad. Most of us Bernard Dunne fans had to put up with some stick from some of the so called Munroe fans, after the poon fight. I wouldn't steep to their level. Dunne was a lot more technically skilled then most peole seem to realise. I really admire Dunne for retiring in the manner he did showing a smart and well thought out career change. He is good to watch on the analisys team anway. Time for the new generation of Irish 122's to entertain the fans. Carlos/Casey/Paulie and our Cuban sensation.

I don't think anyone is taking the **** paddy. It's a case of say what you see. He's a very, very limited fighter.

That said, I agree, I'm really looking forward to the Casey-Hyland scrap and the potential for homegrown fights at 122.

Woops - I just realised that the timing of my post looked like I was suggesting you were making fun of him. No, I know nobody is slagging him off. Reason I just posted that is because one or 2 idiotic comments I saw on the Brit thread still referring to that ancient and now boring history which I have just hypocritically brought up myself:patsch But yeh in 2 weeks time the only 122 talk will be about Carlos V Reid and Casey V Hyland. For the record how does everyone see this fight going? Carlos I'd be very interested to see your opinion too :yep

I want to see Framptons first fight next year to be for the Irish Title!

get that walsh brother over for it so we can settle the score and Carl can administer the "MAXIMUM BANJO"

    +1

Michael Walsh, although a power puncher, is a KO waiting to happen - he is far too gungho with his chin in the air - he would be tailor made for Carlos.

Frampton v Walsh would be a crackin matchup:thumbsup

Now You're Slabberin'! He was very wild no doubt that Carlos would administer a dose of Max Banjo then Young Michael would be slabberin' all over the canvas

Yes, maybe you are right. But Murnoe stops three of the Irish based super bantams and easily.

I can see Banjo's flying all over the place in the first half of next year as long as Carlos lays off the christmas pudding this year. Although, his missus might be due in the New Year (haven't a clue when she is though) which might put the breaks on him for a few months.

I think Monroe beats Hyland and Casey, but not Acosta - who is the best of the three Cork-based Cubans.

I have stated before, I think Monroe would have beat Dunne. There is no way Dunne would have went 12 rounds with that Jap.:yep

*Settle down Dunne-nuthuggers its just my humble opinion:lol:
