Anyone think Hyland-Casey is worth checking out? I might watch the card to catch Garcia-Mitchell, but if Hyland-Casey should actually be a good fight, I'm more prone to watch it...
It should be a good fight, Casey is balls to the wall every round, very agressive and never takes a backward step.Hyland is the better boxer but i doubt he is strong to keep Casey of him. Casey ko7
I'm throwing down a few snots on a Casey stoppage. This is a huge step up for Hyland. Fighting bums for the last six years will have done Hyland no favours. Casey is just two strong and aggressive for Hyland to outmaneouver him. Casey mid round stoppage.
Watch Casey in Prizefighter. Particularly his fight against Josh Wale, I think it will be very similar and that was a very entertaining scrap. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-MsuW1KvxA[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LbqYtl3u44[/ame]
It could be similar to the Mark Moran fight aswell, with the superior boxer in Moran being broken down due to Caseys pressure
Man, brilliant watching that again, it was some great night at the time. Casey is relentless, if he can keep that up for 12 rounds he'll be tough for a lot of people.
Most of the Limerick undercard is confirmed. Just Rogan and Perez's opponents yet to be confirmed- maybe they should fight eachother http://boxrec.com/date_search.php?yyyy=2010&mm=11&dd=06 Just noticed no Acosta (Collado) on the card...?
Good to hear Stephen Ormond's opinion on Casey-Hyland. Also interesting that he will go for Commonwealth Title after two more fights... McAllister looked very average when defending that title last time out :deal
maybe this matchup could take place eventually,Rogan could use it to get back into title contention and it would be a great step up for Perez. If it happened by this time next year it would be great
Quite a difference between the schedules in these links. http://boxrec.com/date_search.php?yyyy=2010&mm=11&dd=06 http://www.irishboxers.ie/events_and_results.html Whats the story with debutant Jon Fogg?
The Hatton TV site has free coverage of the Ireland-England contest in Aldershot. Note esp. Phelans win over an ex-ABA champ, also this years runner-up.
