Cormac, I hope to attend tonight. As far it being a dry bus one, I can't see that be a problem as long as we have time to have a few in Dublin.

Good stuff. Introduce yourself when you get there. True enough, if people cant sit on a bus for two hours without drinking.....We'll definitely look in to it.

I think your missing Slapbangwallops point, which is, what has Hatton boxing Eamonn Magee got to do with surrending to the IRA. That is the sort of vitriol language found at soccer matches or combat18 rallies. Its pure racism mate.

His manager was in the box with us and he said he had trouble finding people to fight him.

well gents, supporters night went well. Sinky was great craic. Glove was won by Steve Wellings - who writes for britishboxing.net. Will have fight tickets to raffle at the greyhound night in Dundalk on June 13. Also will get plotting on another night at Dockers - maybe a Friday? perhaps the last Friday of June - ahead of all the bills in Dublin and Limerick?

did I say they would? But why feel the need to chant it at a boxing match?

Jim Rock v Jonjo FinnaganJust heard that Rock is putting the pundits mic down in a bid to become a four weight Irish champion - surely no one has ever been a four weight Irish champion!! If he pulls it off it will be some serious achievement.Anyone seen Finnagan fight??

I haven't seen him fight, Slapbangwallop, but I know he has only recently returned from a career threatening injury[he was in a car accident].But going by what I've read about him down the years in Boxing News, he seems to be a decent fighter. It could be a tough night for Jim, but he's capable of beating Jonjo.
