Andy Lee Added To Klitschko-Chisora Card

Andy Lee, WBA # 9 and WBC # 15 middleweight world title contender will be in action on December 11 on the undercard of the Waldimir Klitschko V Derek Chisora heavyweight world title fight at the SAP Arena, Mannheim, Germany. The Kronk fighter for the past month has been training hard at the Kronk Gym in Detroit along his 22 year old cousin, Tyson Fury. The towering Tyson is presently the English heavyweight champion with a record of 12 straight wins with 9 coming by way of knockout and his ambition is to become a world champion some day..

Emanuel Steward, Lee’s manager and trainer commented ' Andy will be fighting on December 11; this will be Andy's fifth time fighting on the undercard of a Waldimir Klitschko heavyweight world title championship fight. These occasions give Andy great exposure with the world media and boxing fraternity present, it provides an international dimension to Andy's boxing profile .It is also is part of my management strategy to have Andy box on both sides of the Atlantic to reach out to his fan base and have his fights televised by different tv networks.'

Lee will be at ringside in the Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City this weekend watching with interest the Sergio Martinez v Paul Williams middleweight world title bout. Both fighters are possible opponents in 2011 for the Irishman, who has established an impressive record to date in his 5 year pro career of 24 wins (18 kos) 1 Loss.

Andy Lee commented ' This is my 5th fight this year and no better stage for a boxer than a 20,000 seat stadium in Germany on the undercard of IBF, WBO and WBO Heavyweight World Champion, Waldimir Klitschko. I fly to the Klitschko training camp in Austria this Sunday. Waldimir is a great role model for me, I learn so much from him and I thoroughly enjoy the experience of being in camp with him and Emanuel. in the Mirror last month! was talking to team Andy two days ago no more developments on the Duddy fight!!! I asked about a possible Thomond Park show down with Casey on the card. they said they are open to all offers but Peters hasnt contact as of yet!!!

that would have to be the greatest Irish fight night of all time, could even stop me pinning for a Dunne comeback! .
if anyman can pull it of Peters can!

Any word on who Lee is fighting? Wasn't Brian Vera supposed to be fighting Kelly Pavlic on that card but Pavlic got injured. It would be great to see Andy avenge that one loss. It would silence some of his critics but not the Irish one's like myself....
