Well at the moment in the amateurs we have a 2 time youth world champian Joe Ward , youth olympic champion Ryan Burnett , 3 time female world champion Katie Taylor amongst many others great amateurs, who have Scotland got ??????Not a decent amatuer in the whole set up probably one or two half decent but thats it , if Ireland were to fight Scotland in an amateur contest I would be confident of an Irish whitewash a 10-0 win no problem . There is more to boxing than just world champions you fool Ireland has many European champions in the pros and a good domestic scene as wel as 3 Irish lads fighting for world titles in the next month . Also Ireland are the Cuba of Europe at the minute with the strenght of our amateurs we finished second in the European championships and N.Ireland won the Commonwealth games with a population of 1.5 million now who do Scotland have again ????????????
