:think Hopefully. That would be fantastic for the guy. He's career has been going backwards for the last few years.
at best stagnating for the last two years but he has been getting great sparrin with the likes of khan kav gavin heffron and beltran which can only be good for him hopefully now he kicks on and we see him go for euro title in the near future and then year or 2 down the line if hes good enough world titles only seen one of his fights on the net..probably his tougest assignment which was against reynoso and he looke fairly impressive although if he hadnt of got the knockdowns on the cards he would of lost the fight but he faught alot better than this would suggest won that fight comfortably after been rocked early. heard he didnt look great in his last fight but id say with a bit of stability hell start showin his class in as he progresses
Hopefully Dean does get signed up if it is with Warren then so be it and his Irish stable will be strong enough to put on some cards over here. I am a bit disapointed Frank hasnt put a bill on here when he had Macklin for a couple of fights. But now with Spike , Ormond , Gavin and Byrne he could put a card on in Dublin some time this year if he wanted to. Maybe even a Frankie Gavin v Dean Byrne for the Irish title that would be some fight to have here.
gavin byrne doesnt make sense for an irish title come on lad.. it wont happen now anyway witht the two of then being stable mates but he defo has the stable now to put on a few fights over here now
If Warren can do for Byrne what he has done for Ormond then Byrne will have a good 2011.. Ormond got regular fights last year and is being touted for a commonwealth title... more good news for Irish boxing
Byrne has definately signed with someone, so hopefully its Warren... Also hearing Rogie is planning to fight on the Dudey-Khan bill...
Any news on Andy Murray seems too quite for my liking. After last year where he had 6 fights and so far not fights lined up. I do think he needs to get a fight and hope to get on some British cards with the lack of fights here he is the biggest losser of RTE not showing any fights this year.
I've searched high and low for Byrne's fights and found nothing but if he needed knockdowns to beat Reynoso, I'd keep him well away from Gavin.
