Philips is 37 I think, and it was a surprise when he won the title.I think Duddy has a better chance of beating him than of beating Pavlik.

I would favour Duddy to beat Phillips but it is by no means a foregone conclusion . Duddy would be a lot bigger than Phillips though and even if John had his usual defensive flaws he might just be able to overpower the career long Light-Middle Phillips .

just watched the duddy fight from last week there and must say that it was a performance much improved, his left was once again a wand and head movement, yes john duddy had head movement, his footwork was nice often slipping and turning his opponent but one thing we must look at is his opponent,he wasn't exactly elusive and didn't go in there with the same bad intentions smichet did although it must be said that duddy didnt give him the same chances he gave smichet. he has to be very happy with that performance, however in honesty i would rather see duddy fighting someone like yuri foreman before taking on philips, imo if duddy can prove that he can maintain the consistency of improvement he will not have much trouble with philips and would simply be too big,too strong and too fast.

don't see why not,he has been comfortably in the limit of mw in recent fights and i dont see why he couldnt get stronger in honesty,he still has relative body fat on him and if he lost that he could get down no problem.

Thanks Rebel, I have a feeling this fight will take place. Are you looking forward to watching O'Sullivan tonight.I'm unfortunately in the same position as Fra, I can't get TV3 either. So could you or someone else pass on the results.:hi:
