    They couldn't have done that. Whatever about talking themselves into believing Willie had a genuine shot at beating him thats one thing. To be lumping 40k on him to win is madness anyway. I'd want to have the fight fixed to be putting that money on anyone ffs! Nevermind an underdog!

    RTE has no money for Irish boxing, but............


    .............its got enough money and time in the schedule to give us three hours of the British Royal Wedding on Friday.

    No I am not making this up!

    Yes it is on SKY, BBC and ITV as well!

    I feel your pain. Thing is though, that ****ing royal wedding will do twice the television numbers any boxing show would. Every Hello magazine reader in Ireland will be glued to it. :roll: Jesus wept.

    Can't really blame RTE though, supply and demand and all that.

    that is crazy- mental- sure if people want to see it they can look at sky etc..

    but i presume Ryle and the sports department go mad when they hear that too slap
