I am dissapointed about the date of the show as well to be honest. Matchroom have a big show on SKY, Macklin will probably be on Premier, Hylands in Dublin and Haughian in Armagh! Thats a lot of boxing for one night.

Not sure if promoters give a toss and just think that the people that would go would go anyway but I am sure they must lose a little bit of sales anyway - and media attention, even if its just from websites.

This weekend would have been a much better weekend for a show in my opinion as there is nowt from the UK this Saturday evening.

Thats a good fight for Jamie, I'd say if he does well them Maloney will give him some sort of British title eliminator.

 

yeah having two shows and Macklin on the same night isn't a great idea- its robbing yourself of press! paper wise im sure macklin will get a page lead on Monday and the other shows will be lucky to get a column-

but we can't complain the more shows the better-
