Without any unforeseen problems (injuries etc..) John Duddy should have his belt after this fight!

 

Totaly agree this would be a gift fight for Duddy Phillips isnt bad but johns youth and the pace at which he can fight at would be to much for a man of nearly 40.Put it on in Ireland and the title is as good as Duddys.

I know this is a little of subject, but did anyone watch Cotto v Margarito. It was superb, I have to say I thought Cotto would win on points, but he just looked so much smaller than Margarito.:bbb

I never said Haughian was near the prospects that Murray, Hyland or Lindsay are, he's not . I was merely comparing him to the present day version of Neil Sinclair and their places within the current British Welterweight seen . It seems most people here reckon Neil has a lot more left than I do . With that said Haughian definitely is an improver and his style isn't suited to the amateurs .

He's a big tough strong Welterweight with decent power and okay countering abilites . He may not go too far but he'll be a force to be reckoned with on the British scene and maybe someday the European scene .

I went to put a few euro on margarito about 10 mins b4 the fight but paddy power had finished up the betting!
