I feel for them, it must be a bit demoralising to organise this and then have to pull out but it's probably the prudent decision. No point in being foolhardy and going head to head with the Dublin and Craigavon shows and the Haye-Klitchsko fight...
How do you know? I reported his post and requested that he got banned (and no doubt a few others did as well), so I am glad he is banned. He is an ignorant **** coming on here and disrespecting The Dazzler.
Because Freddy told him to show some respect for dead once Hitman fan has returned, so im guessing hes been banned, and rightfully so. Trolling little **** he was.
JJ Nevin realy got the draw of death in his quarter with the top three boxers in the comp boxing for the same bronze....or rather it's the draw of death for the Russian Polyanski or Luke Campbell.
McDonagh has a good draw and can medal. If Conlon beats Yafai he has Picardi the Italian in a medal fight but I think he'd beat Picardi so the Englishmans the big fight. Moylette should win his next but has a Russian after that to win a medal. McLoughlin can medal while O'Neill has one of the few Russian champs in his quarter who also holds a 10-2 win over O'Kane. A tough but doable fight. Ward has a pretty clear run to the final if on form but Sheehan has a Russian and more in his way. McMonagle has a ***** of a draw with most of the big guns in his half but a bronze might be possible. BTW well done, Raymond, a man for the big occasion.
I can understand your point. Irish people like to get right behind their beloved fighters as we love boxing and everything it stands for. Whats wrong with that? Even if some fighters are not classified in America as any good, we encourage, support and love our Irish fighters. That helps them in the ring with a loud crowd chanting their name. Lee v McEwan about 1000 Irish went over encouraging him. This gives them a better chance of making it big. So what if they dont? So what if they are exposed by an amazing American fighter? At least they went as far in boxing as they could, made some money they can retire on and be known in little old Ireland as a great Irish fighter There is no shame in that. Were just a passionate nation who like to get behind our fighters,
I only found out after the fact that a Polish channel was streaming the womens euros legally. Dont the AIBA only usually stream to countries that didnt buy tv rights? That ****s us as RTE usually buy the rights so they can squeeze the whole bloody tournament into an hour on OB fukn sport
