MATTHEW SEES A BRIGHT FUTURE http://www.birminghammail.net/birmi...-macklin-sees-a-bright-future-97319-21450258/
Nice one Ardy, correct me if I'm wrong but Sutherland should be the first of our boxers into the ring on the 9th. Darren has a real exciting style, but I would rather see him throw straighter punches, as they seem to register better in the computer scoring system. But when he turns pro, he could be awesome.:deal
Andy Lee is on the schedule to fight TBA at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. Anyone know about this? Surely he's not fighting so soon after the Gibbs fight?
Some of the posters on here seem to think Lees next fight is in Limerick at the end of October. His cuts from the Gibbs fight have to be given time to heal, so IMO cant see him fighting again until October.:yep
Andy said after his last fight that he will need to let his cuts heel - therefore Chicago fight will have been cancelled. Boxrec have taken it off his schedule.
As Barnes is a light fly I doubt he has a better chance - Light flys are probably the toughest divisions in this Olympics
