    great performance from ken,put the egyptian pointless in 2 rounds,although he was kd'd in the second he recovered well.

    Good win for Egan,but the opposition was easy enough. I thought Egans opponent was from the Virgin Islands greengloves.He fights a Turk in the next round.What Irish boxer is up next.?:bbb

    sorry marty you were right,he was from VI,i was watching an egyptian boxing at the time i was writing,he was ****!sutherland is up next i think,thats what the schedule says at least!good to see andy lee and bernard doing the irish coverage!

    Ardy that message was as impressive as John Joes performance :lol:
    Great win for Joyce the best of his career so far he should beat his next opponent from the Dominican Republic.It looks like Joyce versus the romanian for a medal.John is a very likeable guy and a great role model and prospect for 2012.

    Yeah, there was an awful lot made of the fact that the Hungarian had defeated Joyce three times before. But you have to remember, John Joe is improving all the time, he could well win a medal.:yep
