It was a tenner lads, great day of action. JJJ was done after a right hook to the head in the 2nd. Sheahan couldn't miss and looked quality, tho like one of the boys said, maybe he just knows JJJ all to well.
Other top performers were Cummings and Quigley at middleweight, Darren O'Neill was there and may well have been watching nervously!
Nolan again quality and very hard to pick a winner at middle and welter. For what it#s worth I'll go with Nolan and Cummings.
The all-Athy lightweight is gonna be a beats too, I'd favour Donovan again (they're 1-1) but DOJ would make some pro, the way he whips in those left hooks to the body, give the man 8-10 rounds and he's stopping most out there.

I just saw that in the tele. I would prefer Rogie to fight Fury in Belfast than over in Germany.

The Asian Games are on at the moment, 4 Chinese have reached the final and another had to settle for bronze, they are the leading nation.
All five boxed here this year, the Flyweight lost to Conlon and Phelan and edged out Molloy.
The lightweight lost to McDonagh, Donovan and by count-back to DOJ.
The welterweight lost to Nolan on a count-back and beat Sheehan and Brabazon.
The light/heavy lost to Ward, Egan and Davy Joyce.
The s/heavyweight has had to settle for bronze and he beat Turner on a c/b and McMonigle easily. He is the Olympic silver medalist and reign Asian champion.
We have some talent, the IABA played a major role in putting it there, please don't **** it up?

I reckon Rogie will fight Pulev first and then win or lose he can still come back and fight Fury , but if he loses to Fury the Pulev fight is out the window , he is thinking about the money and rightly so .

McCullagh boxed well today, but he has no power. I was very surprised when he won European bronze and good luck to him. I see him winning the 56kg and no one knows if that means him or Nevin go to the worlds. Crazy stuff.
