Reasonable opponents considering it's a small bill, the 3 Hyland's should win comfortably enough but I reckon we will be seeing 3 decision wins. Hopefully they each can get one more fight in before the end of the year against a little stiffer opposition. The main thing is they're being kept active for once anyway.
I heard a bit about Danny,he sounds like one to watch. He will have the huge Irish support behind him when he starts fighting pro. Maybe he can come to Ireland to fight as well.:hi:
I was checking boxrec, when I noticed Francis Barrett is making a comeback on the Killarney promotion.:huh http://www.boxrec.com/schedule.php?country=IE&division=&title=&tv=&SUBMIT=Go
It said he dominated the Olympic gold medalist from the Dominican Republic so he could have tons of potential. However, the fact that he has only boxed for a few years is a cause for concern.
JJ Joyce should have got the decision against that guy also.He was beaten on a countback, and the Dominican was gifted a 2 point foul.
Good luck to barrett would mind seeing him against john o donnell in an all galway clash. Loads of guy making there pro debuts on the killarney bill.
It looks like a cracking bill with 9 bouts lined up. Phil Sutcliff [the promoter] isn't skimping on the money:hey
BARNES ON EURO TRAIL AS STARS OF BEIJING REGROUP http://www.independent.ie/sport/oth...ail-as-heroes-of-beijing-regroup-1463861.html There's an interesting part of this article about the clamour to manage or train Darren Sutherland, now he has turned pro.
That would be Mike Perez(already 4-0, 3 ko's), Alexei Acosta and Luis Garcia. All of them are World Junior amateur champions. The 3 of them are fighting on Gary Hyde's promotion on the 13th and then again on Phil Sutcliffe's card at the Gleneagle hotel on the 26th of October. Good news for Gary Hyde is the card for Neptune stadium has sold out(at least on ticketmaster anyway), anyway know how much Neptune stadium holds ?, I'd guess with being able to use some of the court for seating it would be a bit more than what it is for basketball anyway. That's a decent little card too with Gary O'Sullivan, Jamie Power, Ian Tims and Michael Sweeney on the card with the 3 Cubans. I've heard some very positive stuff about both O'Sullivan and Power and I like the way O'Sullivan is being kept very active(he's also on the Killarney bill).
