Lads how do you see Fury V Perez going if it came off?

And is team Fury running scared of Perez?

Getting a bit sick of nationality wars in Irish boxing at the minute.
True, we got this line today and it's a BIT rich: “I hear big mouth talking about fighting for Irish titles and basing himself here but it takes more than wearing a GAA jersey for five minutes or sticking a tweed cap on your head to become an Irishman." - From a Cuban of all people.

Then Rogie was giving Fury loads about wanting to fight in Belfast and base himself here. And Macklin trying again and again to reaffirm his Irishness. It's not one for me at all. What of Lee, etc, not Irish because they weren't born here? It's getting used more and more to sling mud.

I think Perez would stop Fury if they fought right now. Furys shown he can be hurt and you got to think Perez would be using plenty of head movement. Fury landed his right at will the other night but not so much against Chisora

Either Perez stops Fury by the 7th or Fury survives an early/mid fight scare similar to Chisora and wins a ud later on, or possibly even a stoppage given that Perez hasn't had a test yet.

Agreed. I really like Fury, but he doesn't seem to have the power that Perez appears to, and as you say, he's been clipped a couple of times recently. How is that some big men like vitali k. can punch like proverbial mules, while others like valuev can't? Fury's a likable lad, though, and good for the sport, IMO.

Apparently the board turned him down to replace Haughian for Witter - but then gave it to someone Latvian with "gym wins".

Pity cos OB was on a McCloskey-Prescott type vibe for that one 'if Haughian wont fight him, I will"

Then he was supposed to be in against Phill Fury but I heard they didnt want it because OB wanted an 8 rounder (to qualify for the Irish title) and was prepared to take the same money as was offered for a 6 rounder. No go!

    More Quack Quack!

COB Ireland's P4P #1 Boxer thats based in Burnley! :deal
