i'd like to see him fighting Branco or lynes but doubt either of them will happen.Wright was a tough fight but i'd still like to see him move up in class.

Paulie is European title level but I reckon no higher, Eddie and Patrick are a step below that at European Union title level.

Unfortunately Paulie's opponent, who was better than his record looked as he had only lost in very good company(Nathan Sting, Hussein Hussein and 3 times to Vic Darchinyan) got a better offer to fight in Thailand tonight so he's off the card and out and out journeyman Christian Nicolae steps in.

It'll be a very easy win for Paulie and he won't learn much but a poor fight is better than no fight.

Anyone know anything about Robert Long who debuts on the bill ?

A fascinating article nutter. Kenny has a important decision to make. But I think he should take the deal and turn pro, assuming it's as lucrative as Tommy is indicating. In life sometimes you gotta grab the bull by the horns, grasp an opportunity, so to speak. I'm sure he won't make as much by staying amateur. But good luck to him whatever he chooses to do.

    Anybody any news on Sutherland?

I have to agree with you there Fra, the Hylands need a bigger promoter and a tv deal to take them to the next level. I suppose we dont know how far they can go yet until we see them in more meaningful fights.:deal

Barry McGuigan is in the front running for the managers job for Sutherland career.
