its getting a bit strange alright ,ill tell ya the next show that is on down here in the real world ill definetly go. Dont care whos on or who is promoting. Its the only way,if one show breaks even the rest might follow.
but thats the thing- shows shouldnt have to rely on peoples loyalty to boxing or get pity tickets sales.. there are enough quality fighters here to excite and make people get up and go to shows- promoters also have to think outside the box and create a nights entertainment.
100 percent agree thats why i was interested in that show in Dundalk boxing and boobies how bad..Whatever happened there? it would be easier to get others along to the boxing if there was something on after band or dancing ..........or a nice poetry recitial
i seen an interview with Tyson and he was saying that Boxing should follow UFC's lead and have a party between fights etc Peters shows was class have to say- Bernard Dunne's point shows were one massive party Casey's fight with Galahad is off http://www.irish-boxing.com/2011/11/casey-galahad-off/
Like Dundalk!? Come on, get real, most of the time I feel that besides us dozen or so gobshites no one gives a shite about domestic pro boxing. OK, self pity over. Without a solid commercial sponsor and/or TV support (both usually run in tandem) its virtually impossible to run a profitable show in this country.
Talking about the Dundalk show gives me a legitimate reason to repost this picture of an ultimate sultry princess. Ms. Semion. This content is protected More of that good **** thisaway - http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.212795918781766.51726.100001540776116&type=1

Katie Taylor, Darren O'Neill, Joe Ward, John Joe Nevin, Paddy Barnes, Ray Moylette, Michael Conlan, Ryan Burnett and Eric Donovan are all in the Top 20 in their respective weight categories. Taylor, who has been ranked number one since November 2008, tops the 60Kg table with 1,200 points, 400 points ahead of China's Cheng Dong, who she beat in the 2010 and 2008 World 60Kg finals. Darren O'Neill, Michael Conlan and John Joe Nevin, who all qualified for the 2012 Olympics at the AIBA World Championships in Baku last month, occupy top 15 positions, with O'Neill moving up six places from August's rankings to number three at middleweight. Conlan, meanwhile, has shot a massive 38 places up the flyweight table from 52 to 14, while two-time World medalist Nevin remains unchanged at number 4 in the bantamweight class.
