Lads, a bit off the Irish boxing topic but I've just watched Kirkland v Angulo and it's not to be missed!. 10 am playback on Sky Sports. Unreal fight!

Whats the story with Lindsay is he fighting before Xmas or leaving it until next year. I wonder who he will sign with. Shocked Maloney let him go with ****** on Boxnation you would think other promotors would try and hold onto there fighters. He really needs to be fighting again seems to be the forgotten man of Irish boxing.

 

Maybe I'm wrong but hasn't he been gone from Maloney for quite a while?

A year ago today Willie Casey beat Paul Hyland for the European title in the first ever all-Irish EBU title fight.

Who from here went along that night? I watched it on the laptop from Barcelona and was sickened to have missed it. There is the possibility of another Euro super-bantamweight title fight down the line if the right strings are pulled and Big Bang is matched with Frampton, which would be epic.

 

Bring it on. There was some atmosphere in UL that night. I'd rather Casey fight Kiko as I think he has a better chance but Kiko, Casey, Frampton, Quigg. Any of those guys fighting each other would make for a good fight.
