The Big Bopper was on my facebook and certain that its a pro show.

 

well uts not licenced by the bui or the bbboc so its unlicenced im assuming there getting paid for it so its a pro show that way

Anyone see hear any news about Macklin looking for a Dec fight?

 

That was in the original presser posted by Slap I think, where they sat down in AC before the Lee fight and outlined plans to fight in a small New York venue in December. Not heard anything since on that and they seemed to be settling for later. Hope they get him out soon though for a confidence builder, one of Lee's old opponents over the last year or two would do just fine.

i got a call saying there was bits in teh Star and indo- with macklin saying no one would fight him in Dec??? I intially presmed they had just used the presser we all got during the week- but i re read that and was nowt in it about wanting to fight in dec???

That's a tough one for Tims, McPhilbin has a decent dig on him and destroyed Timlin even if he wasn't up to much that night. He really put up zero resistance.

 

I thoght keane was risky enough this one is even better.. quality card!

The lads on the high performance get paid, does that mean they are pro boxers?

If its the same set up as the UBU show last time in Omagh then everyone involved are putting their licence at jeoprady, that includes cornermen, trainers, ref, judges, the promoter and the fighters. Especially if they are licenced by the BBBoC.

What was the standard of the last show like? Are there are videos from it. That Marty Keyes is decent, but never heard of anyone else on it.

 

I spoke to El Tornado on the weekend (Friday evening) and there was no mention of a show in December and he was a smidge annoyed about that, only a smidge mind. Eye is on the ball for March.
