Speaking of a potential pro's, how do any of ye who are familiar with him think Karl Brabazon will get on in the pro's? He's getting on in age but hes had a fairly successful am career?
best and worst id say Kev! and your right- some of the ams are on very good loot- why turn pro and make 2-5k a fight on a show that could go down!!! if the ams got tv coverage etc- some of the lads could build a following they might be able to run shows of the back of if they did drop the vest!
The echo in general is gone to shite, still using Magnier for road bowling even though he's not been out the road in bout 5 years and the gaa coverage, while plentiful is fairly shite too. I know the sports editor, John Mchale, and he's a good lad but its just poor. He used do the MC in the stadium a bit, dunno if he still does it

Yup, add in Alio Belfast, Murphy Lurgan, Hennessy Belfast, Matchroom Belfast and Peters/Coyle Mayo and that's about it. A shame for the many domestic fighters here I'd like to get more opportunity to see. And Mush if that's the case no wonder the paper's going to the f***** dogs! What you writing on, boxing obviously yeah?
yeah podge is doing a 2 page spread on spike and wanted a fans view on spike vs fitz so he rang me and asked
I've a feeling that there will be three show in the first three months of next year! will they be supported though?
