hello fra lee and dunne should both be headlining around late-october/early-november, i heard henry coyle might be on one of these shows. I agree with you on McCloskey, he is already 28 and with his defense mostly his reflexs he could very well get brutally ko'd when he is older and starts slowing down. Andy murruy should also line up a british title shot.

From reading that it sounds like the belfast fight is all but off. Maybe we could see a mcloskey title fight there that night instead .

Dias who fights Perez tonight has had his record on boxrec changed from 7-0 to 3-0. Strange..anyone got an explanation?? I wish they would televise Celtic Crossing, afterall they did show Big Time Boxing on TV3 in July. With regards Duddy its disappointing that he won't be fighting Phillips, but if he can beat a decent opponent in November and then Hearns in Januaury, he definately get one. Almost like an eliminator. Hearns vs. Duddy will be huge in the USA, so hopefully Hearns will win his fights in September and October (as well as Duddy in November) and then the big fight will be in January.

i dont understand why duddy cant take a fight in belfast in november...instead of the US...but a fight with hearns will be a money spinner...and the key 2 a world title shot:good

Magee would be favored but Maguire is the strong sort, he could pose Magee problems. Magee sometimes falls apart when put under sustained pressure.

I think that Kenny Egan from the olympics has alot of potential. Pattie Barns also impressed me.

Egan is thinking of turning professional, whereas Barnes is staying amateur for the moment. The third Irish medalist Darren Sutherland is turning pro, it looks as if he will be based in Britain.
