Thanks for this. They may have got mentions but im afraid that doesnt cut it if your compiling a top 10. McCourt should be at least in the top 3 when you look at his achievements. Its common knowledge he was robbed in the olympics semi, yet he fought the olympic champ not long after and beat him comfortably. He was the number 1 ranked boxer worldwide for 4 straight years and when he won the commonwealth gold medal, he won every fight inside the distance. Extra-ordinary achievement. I once saw mick dowling on RTE get asked a question about the new (then) computer scoring and he replied that if it had have been around in his day then jim mc court would never have been beaten. Now thats a compliment and a half. With the utmost respect, some of those guys in the list do not deserve to be put ahead of him

Anyone in the Republic after signing up for boxnation? Im just after tryinmg 3 times and all I get from paywizard is Sorry an error has occured, please try again.

Thats after I give the ****s my card details

EDIT: just saw this on the brit forum

"We actually accept all credit and debit cards - apart from Maestro, which doesn't support recurring payments. This is actually a limitation of the Maestro system, rather than ours - so it's not something we will be able to fix."

No *******ing boxnation for me then. How can they not accept one of the major cards?

Well Hennessy has put a deposit down on the Theater already so I can only assume that he means the Garden main arena.

If promoted well they could sell out the main arena. The amount of Irish in New York is mad and the amount that think they're Irish is even more crazy.

No doubt about it, if they got McCloskey and Frampton on board to please all the Northies out there, matched Lee and Macklin with recognised opponents and maybe threw in Monaghan and Hardwick on undercard it could well sell out and Im sure it would be ideal for a lot of the fellas on here to suggest a weekend away to NY with the missus for Paddys weekend and "Oh would ya look at that there happens to be boxing on there that night, sure we might as well go"
