Slim chance, early stoppage for Martinez

 

Think he'll do all right he's better then Barker who troubled Martinez! Expect him to do well and do everyone proud but only way he'll win is by KO don't see him getting a decision (if it goes that far) ala Sturm fight

 

If Barker fought Macklin I'd expect Macklin to win. However Macklin style-wise is more suited to Martinez. Macklin's come forward style will play into Martinez's supreme ability as a counter puncher.

Funnily enough, Ryan Burnett has just used the same avenue to make it official that he will be going pro.

 

i think he will try to jump on Martinez and stop him early, which could happen - can't see Macklin winning if Martinez gets time to work him out...

 

I agree that Macklin style wise will play into Martinez hands but I hope to Fek I'm wrong.
I think Lee style wise would have a better chance.

 

Macklin will win the first 2 or 3 rounds then get KTFO before the 8th
