Story in this evenings Herald about Sean Turner breaking someone's jaw in a pub fight that's his second serious assault charge but he gets away with a clean record and €5000 compensation payment to his victim, I for one hope he gets to meet Con Sheehan and gets smashed to bits!
It sounds to me like they are just reproducing the original story. I doubt he has gone and done it again! I'm all for giving a 2nd chance but not a 3rd so hopefully in this case I'm right and your wrong on this!
did it give the date of the assault? As said it could be an old story rehased. if he has done it again he is a scumbag and thats all about it,I understand second chances but once is too much for me in a incident like this.

Lads how much are the tickets for the weekend am boxing either night. Been ages since I went to the ams. Also I am taking you can pay at the door on the night.
The date of the first assault was January 4th 2009, the latest incident was reported to have happened on October 26th 2010.
I find it hard to fathom Irish guys actually getting into fights because one supports Man Utd and the other Liverpool! Get a little perspective in your lives you sad sad ****s!
On the 16th of cotober 2010 the brave mister turner won a gold medal in a multinations tournament abroad,(iaba results) 10 days later he is battering some joe soap over a soccer match.atsch On both occasions he brings a pocket of cash to the court and walks free. This thug should never be given the honour of representing his country again.
http://www.herald.ie/news/courts/fans-jaw-broken-by-boxer-after-manu-jibe-2375230.html Thats the story of the latest assault, the date in todays paper is 2010 but this article reports 2009 which would make more sense as it coincides with a fixture between United and Liverpool which happened a few hours earlier on the 25th. So basically he commited two serious assaults within 10 months. He's unbelievably lucky to have gotten away with just having to pay compensation for these assaults and to have come up against differant judges on each case.
lucky my hole the amount of ****s i know walking around who have about 20 convictions and never seen the inside of a cell its sickening its the ******ed justice system over here
I have seen it happen plenty of times in locals over here trouble kicking over a football matches on a saturday or sunday , very true that what the media report can be far from the truth and that i know too well, but the fact of the matter is he was found guilty of two counts of serious assault, Im not trying to drag down Irish boxing but this fella is obviously a sham!
I meant the lucky comment more as regards to his career prospects, getting a visa to the States would be a lot harder to obtain if he was given a conviction for them.
