I wonder how well Hickey would do though? Anyone have an idea how he got on in international bouts? The only reason he didn't go to the Euros was because the army didn't release him, but for all I know he could actually do brilliant in the olympics himself. Last year the box-offs seemed to be an attempt to get either Joyce or Donovan into the team at 60kg cos McDonagh wasn't doing the business on the international stage...but I don't see any reason why Hickey won't do well! To me he's a classy boxer - better and more consistent atm than Moylette. As Moorser said a while back, Moylette is an enigma!

You would think Quigg was a superstar to hear Joe Gallagher there. I think he is full of ****. The lines like 'don't be hanging on Quigg to get publicity etc' is a poorly disguised parody of the kind of line Mayweather says about Pacman's people. Very contrived.

The other thing that was bull**** tonight on Ringside was this bogus claim that Hughes will offer a stern test. Not a chance. Frampton will toy with Hughes and stop him and look very good doing it.

Sports Tonight Live Boxing Show

Do many people watch this? I never heard about it until a week or two ago but have watched all the "back catalogue" this week and made an appearance on yesterdays episode (9.00 minutes in!)

Anyone else watch this? Its on Freeview Channel 112.

They have outlined that if they get a good reaction then there will be a regular in-studio slot and eventually an Irish boxing show. (Skip to 9.00 for my piece!)
