    Pajo
    Ormond
    Spike
    Kavanagh

On a separate note Frampton will get a 1st or 2nd round stoppage in March. Would be nice to see him in with someone like Reid now or a durable opponent with a chin and who can bang a bit.

Spike is highly rated it would seem. Anto, as much of an arsehole as he is, has beaten some quality operators. I haven't seen enough of Spike but if people think he would beat Anto handily, that's pretty encouraging.

Fitzer has a good win over Belghecam, who is a decent euro level fighter. Belghecam had Lee in trouble in the last round and should have had the decision against Barker. Fitzer/Belghecam was a terrible stoppage but he was well on top. Spike hasn't fought anybody of Euro level. Perhaps when he fights a good solid Euro level boxer it will be give a good idea how good he really is. Who knows what will happen if they meet at prizefighter:huh:huh:huh

In Michael McDonagh's 60 kg weightclass two of the top Europeans, the great Lomachenko and Valentino have qualified, leaving four places. The Russian selection, either Selimov or Polyanskiy(who robbed Nevin at 56 in the Euro's) will be a strong favourite to progress. However after that the Irishman has a good chance. Keles won the European with some home Turkish bias, Ward and Burhard have mixed in on pretty level terms with Donovan and David Oliver so the very underated Dubliner can cause a surprise.
    My top Euro 12;
    1-Lomanchenko)Ukr)-qualified
    2-Selimov(Russia)
    3-Valentino-Italy-Qualified
4-Polyanskiy(Russia)-probably wont get to the qualifiers, Selimov.
    5-Matviychuk(Ukr)-Lomanchenko already in.
    6-Keles(Turkey)-should be fancied at home.
7-Burhard-(Ger)-beat DOJ at the pre-Olympics in London, I fancy his chances.
8-Ward(UK) half Irish but has underperformed at times.
    9-McDonagh-our boy
10-Isayev-(Azer) young, inconsistant but a real threat.
    11-Baranchic-(Belarus)
12-Azzedine(France) Qualified through the WSB but hasn't produced in Championships for a while.
Varga from Hungary also qualified at the Worlds but I would also have him behind Kaya from Sweeden or Saruhanyan of Armenia.

    Selimov, Keles, Burhard and McDonagh!

    Slap,

Saw the twitter war. You make some good points about the diaspora, tbf, and some irish can be quite snobby to their cousins born abroad with the plastic paddy comments. But did fury really say that he'd be the greatest irish warrior since cucuhalain? Ffs, has he been reading Yeats or some such ****? I like him, but it's like he's trying to be a bit nios gaelai . . . I just hope that there is no mention of Finn Maccool or Brian boru next.

I never really read the article about Fury trumping the whole of the Ulster Dynasty and eating to brown bull of Cooley raw!

My Irish was with Rogan attempting to **** all over Fury's "Irishness". I really hate that **** to be honest. Maybe its because I've lived in UK and in the US for so long and I know how insulting it is to 2nd and 3rd generation Irish people. It's a really snide manouvre to pull. No time for it at all.
