64 is the toughest division to qualify from for London. Hickey is as god as anyone(as Moylette would be) but with only one position available the Russian selection will have to be defeated, as simple as that. Solyanikov or new star Uzlyan will box for them and Ross is one of the few good enough to beat them.
    1=Berinchik-Ukr-QUALIFIED
    2-Stalker-UK-QUALIFIED
    2-Uzlyan-Russia
4-Solyanikov-Russia-won't be there if Uzlyan is
    5-Kate-QUALIFIED
    6-Moylette-Ire-won't be there
    7-Mangiacapre-It-QUALIFIED
    8-Kuncatis-Lit-Top youth,real danger.
    9-Chladek-Czeck-very experienced
    10-Javakhyan-Arm-top man but waning?
    11-Hickey-Ire-real dark horse
    12-Hajialiyev-Aze

Alonso(Sp) or Yigit(Sw) have also qualified but the Russian, Hickey, Kuncatis or Chladek would be well fancied over either.

Hope Hickey qualify's anyways, hes been around a long time now and this may be his last chance to qualify for the oluympics. You never know he could do it, he has been boxing as well as hes ever been recently.

The Chemistry Cup,coming up in Germany is a semi Olympics.
Joe Ward has 5 of the ten Qualifiers at 81 kg for opponents including the silver medalist at the Worlds and the two bronze winners. Also his main qualifying challenger, Bouhenia from France a former World bronze winner.
Paddy has a former world champ Serdamba for company plus the current Euro silver winner from Russia, hope he get at least three fights.
Conlon has twocurrent World champios in his weight!
Shiming from China, the light-fly gold winner, IMO the best amature in the world joins Aloyan from Russia, the flyweight world champion and a host of other World and European medalist. Mickey won't be found wanting.
Nevin is out at bantam, a pity as the man who beat him in the last Olympics on the way to gold,Enkbhbat from Mongolia makes a comeback for this tourney.
David Oliver Joyce has a load of really good opponents but no stand out opponent, he can do well.
Hickey has the world champ Lopez from Brazil among others as possible adversaries but can surprise, he too needs this competition.
Adam Nolan has several World medalists as opponents but can progress if given a decent draw.
If O'Neill boxes to his best he is capable of winning gold at 75 and at 91 if McCarthy manages to avoid the Russian Beterbiev(described by Egan as his best opponent) he can do ok.
Sheehan has a loaded division with the Olympic silver winner from China, an Asian and Euro winner and several good up-and-cummers-like himself, perfect prep for the qualifiers.Nistor from Rumania is probably one of the biggest punchers in the Am game but is not a great boxer. Should be good fun!n

Big fight tonight for Stephen Ormond, he's up against it [odds wise], but I think he will be too big and strong for Appleby. Appleby trades on strength not boxing ability for success, and Ormond who has boxed at the higher poundage should be able to deal with that. A win tonight for Ormond could open the door for W@rren to run some shows in Dublin with Ormond headlining.

Lads any of you know why the Perez fight has been cancelled over in America? This is bollocks, and just are of the many cancelations of last year.
