    The atmosphere over in New York last night was great btw, crowd were really enthusiastic and were roaring everytime Macklin landed anyting good. Some good support he had there. I was loving the ole ole ole ole chants myself :lol:

    He seemed to give Macklin respect before, during and after the fight. Any hatred towards Martinez would be irrational, i.e. my hatred of him. God I hope if he fights Lee that the Limerick man spanks him badly for what he done to our Matthew :!:

    Macklin was excellent I thought. He surpassed my expectations due to his new style. The Macklin that came against Sturm would have been in more trouble earlier on in the fight. Lee has the capability to ko and be ko'd by Martinez. It's a totally different fight.
    Lee has the jab which would trouble Martinez and Lee can use Macklins patient approach but would me more effective. Lee is more accurate also. Question is if Lee can keep the stamina he showed in Vera rematch. Martinez is incredible at 160 though.
