Murray refused avisa to the states so his fight with Junior is off...Surely it has to be Andy Lees turn now,

Andy Lee fighting for a World title next that would be good for Irish boxing. It would be great if Lee was to win the World title and defend it in Dublin or Limerick that would be great for boxing in Southern Ireland with the Northern Ireland boxing seeing the best action for years it seems up there they have at least 3 to 5 good cards a year we havnt seen that sort down here for some time.

The only thing is I just not too sure Andy has a World title win in him. Not too sure about his defence and his chin for me is questionable. Manny Steward has been brilliant with Wlad Klitschko and Im hoping the same will be said of Lee in years to come and he becomes another World Champion on Stewards list but Im not too sure.

A fight with Chavez jnr or Strum are winable but if it goes to the cards in either fight I just cant see him getting the decision in Texas or Germany. A fight with Martinez not yet he will be out classed but I honestly think they will make Lee v Macklin before any World title fight a eliminator for someones title.

Mark 'Kid Dynamite' Heffron promises to be even more explosive in Belfast on May 5th than he was on St Patricks Day in Amsterdam where he notched up an impressive 1st round Konckout over rugged French man Fethi Bentafna. Kid Dynamite's opponent, who had never been stopped in his 22 previous contest could not handle the explosive power from his attacking all action assassin and was counted out lying lifeless on the ropes by the Dutch referee Robert Verwijs. Heffron at just 20 years old has KO punch power in both hands and this coupled with amazing accuracy will ensure that he is the hot favorite to win the Irish Middleweight Prizefighter which will be held in Belfast, Northern Ireland for the very first time. 'Mark Heffron will be impossible to beat in the Irish Middleweight Prizefighter and he has already been tipped by Freddie Roach and Ricky Hatton to go all the way and become world champion'. said his manager Gary Hyde who also manages a team of undefeated fighters which includes WBA World 122lb champion Guillermo 'El Chacal' Rigondeaux (9-0), Levan 'The Wolf' Ghvamichava (6-0) and Dee 'Waldo' Walsh (2-0). 'When Mark was 17 he sparred World Champion Amir Khan at the Wildcard in LA and after the spar Freddie Roach was so impressed with Mark's aggressive style and power that he encouraged me to sign him immediately touting him as one of the best young fighters he has seen'. Kid Dynamite who is now 6-0 with 5 KOs is really looking forward to fighting on the Matchroom's Prizefighter and he is 100% confident of winning promising some big knock outs on route. 'Since I have moved up to Middleweight my punching power has improved even more' said a confident Mark Heffron I am knocking out sparring partners and I will be knocking out who ever I am drawn against in the middleweight prizefighter on May 5th.' With all due respects to these fighters they just have never been hit like I am going to hit them and when they are hit believe me they will fall and I will be Irish Middleweight Prizefighter Champion'.

Any idea when Levan will be out next? He had such a great 2011, it would be an awful shame to see him inactive.

There's so many shows being announced at the moment I can't keep up...:nut Good to see, all the same.

It's also good that Ciaran Healy has got an eight-rounder on the Hennessy show but the only problem is it seems to be against Matthew Barney. That's going to be the longest eight rounds ever.

I'm hearing Barney is out, potentially retired.

Strange/Brave move by Alio to put a show on at that date.
