Good match, nice to see another Irishman in a world title fight. Cant see Andy winning but im hoping he puts up a very good performance which gets him some more big fights.

Lou DiBella was on "Off the ball" on Newstalk confirming the Lee/JCCJ fight.

Yea and scanning the threads there's a fair few of them on here. Think it'll go to points and andy will defo be chavez's toughest test yet. His jab being the biggest weapon he has

It looks like Lee v Chavez, Jr. is to take place in Texas. Lee has no hope of a decision victory there. None. He'll have to knock him out, which I think he can do. Andy will be up against the crowd, the judges, the referee, who is almost sure to be Laurence Cole, and the Texas "Commission." Chavez will not be tested for any diuretics or anything else either. I'd almost prefer he fight Sturm in Germany, but I still think Andy takes this fight.

I've been saying this for ages now. Lee has no chacne of getting a decision. JccJr will weigh 10lbs heavier at least. But maybe Lee can get the KO:bbb

Getting robbed in a high profile fight like that is as good as winning.

Lee will have to sign away a large chunk of his life to get that shot but if he is robbed then he gets the credit for winning but doesnt get tied into the options.
