WILL IRISH EYES BE SMILING http://www.setantasports.com/en/Sport/News/Other-sports/2008/01/31/Boxing-Will-Irish-eyes-be-smiling/
i think irish boxing is going from strenght to strenght....the publicity around the sport at this moment .....will create more stars for the future....i hope dunne can come back again fresh and new
Yeah it is Fra, but I hope it's not unfounded, as it's still early in his career.Lee needs another 18 months of learning fights, before he's ready for a world title fight.
Lee is actually the antithesis of a come forward irish boxer. His straight up technical boxing style makes me wonder how his chin and power will be as he steps up the comp. His style makes me question whether it would suit a very strong and brutal puncher like Pavlik. I guess all questions will be answered in time.
Lee's style is generated to 'Hit Without Being Hit' and to avoid big shots like he would against Pavlik. Classic boxing style no less. More experience and he may survive against big punchers like Pavlik. Steward would know the antis.
Go Irish Boxing!!!!! And let's get B. Dunne back in action over there. Go Irish!!! .... and big ups to RTE!!
