Rogan/Fury weigh in turned into chaos. Rogan alleges that he was given a contract to sign as he came off the scales by some fella Pearse McCullough (no idea who that is). He went berserk, stormed out then launched into a tirade in front of the tv cameras about the whole situation. For a while it seemed the fight was off but all clear now. Was a complete mess and in fairness, was chatting to yer man Al Bernstein after and he agreed Rogan was right to be upset about what happened - it's hard to disagree, all very unprofessional. The whole situation regarding the Irish title, 10/12 rounds etc has been a shambles. Rogan then went back and did the head-to-head photos, both men in fantastic shape.
Contract for what exactly? And just to clear the air is it for the Irish title yes/no? Is it 10/12 rounds and who's the ref?
It was announced as a 12 round international contest so no Irish title. Ref I don't know. And the contract apparantly is for the fight, yet Rogan isnists he had signed the contract months ago so what was going on with that I don't know. Seems completely mad that they are trying to get him to sign a contract when he has literally just stepped off the scales. The whole thing was a bit shambolic really

Between the BUI and the BBBoC they crafted a new document today. Fury has signed, Rogan has not. If he does not, the fight will not be for the Irish title. If he does, it's set to go as following, or so I'm told: 12 rounds. David Irvine referee. Judges: Parris, Foster, O'Connor. Joint supervisors. Rogan will probably want more money to sign and I don't blame him.
Is he just holding out for more money so? What could possibly be in the draft that Marty wouldn't sign it?
Yeah probably. Tyson's the one who wanted to fight for an Irish title all along, not sure Rogan's too fussed.
From the vids and piece on BBC earlier had finally solved that.Yes I think thats why McCullagh was there with the contract, that was it.Stilll, having just stepped off the scales is not the time or place to be waving contracts about. Rogan was giving off about changing the rules of the Irish title. Guy I know from the BBBoC who was present said there was to be a meeting this afternoon so maybe it got resolved then. The whole saga has been handled terribly and that scene today could easily have been avoided had they just discussed all that privatly instead of on the scales
