    It says on boxrec that Munroe is defending his European title in Dublin on the 18th December, the same night Sutherland makes his debut. Im thinking this is a plan for Munroe to come to Ireland another time to defend against Dunne. But the big difference will be that Maloney will be promoting and not Brian Peters. Just a thought, or maybe wishful thinking on my part:D

    Thats a possibility nutter, but dont hold your breath, as I cant see Munroe giving up home advantage to Bernard.:deal

    Tyson look-a-like Cliff Couser.His record is something like 22-16, not great but he is a seasoned pro who has been in the ring with some world class heavyweights.He KOed Monte Barrett in 2 rnds last year but has lost 5 or 6 in a row since.All in all a decent test for Perez

    Did Couser not pull out?

    Here's one for all you Bernard Dunne fans as well. Might be some use as measuring stick as to where he is (if it lasts more than 60 seconds with a big KTFO win)

    unfortunately couser pulled out last week. But i just read an article over at british boxing and it said perez's next opponent is franklin egobi 15-3 (10 ko's), egobi lost last saturday but he is an ok replacement on short notice. I also don't think he's ever been down so it would be good if perez put him away early.

    Mike looks the real deal but you can't really tell until he gets in there with a better class of opposition, i was looking forward to the couser fight but at least Egobi will be better than the last bum that he foght

    well...for the sake of the thread....and you're a top poster :)...i won't get into a disagreement....and you were there, whereas i watched the tv...
    {embarressed to say...that back then i was afraid to drive to belfast cause people kept saying you'd get shot for driving a republican car down the wrong road up there}

    anyhoo..this leads me to when i was at the point watching lennox lewis v justin fortune....there live, i thought fortune had a great fight....back at home on the telly, he looked totally outclassed, like i was watching a different fight...

    tellys do that.

    On boxrec it has perez against brazilian daniel bispo. it also has alexei acosta on the bill. Bispo is a better measureing stick than egobi and has been in with name opponent's fres orquedo, usitov, kevin johnson, yoan pablo hernandez and corrie sander's.

    i wonder who munroe will face? Maybe the martinez rematch, i think kiko is his mandatoray plus he is quite well known in ireland
