Casey was dropped in the first round by Booth but won the fight on points 116-112 | 115-114 | 115-114
A lot of crying on the brit forum about the result and about Spikes win aswell. Wasnt expecting any of the two to struggle like that,i thought they would win nicely after a bit of opposition. Still does this open the door for a double rematch night in Limerick or Cork before santa comes??
Hearn on twitter saying hes sorting out 5 title fights for 8th and 22nd Sept. Can anybody shed any light on this? I assume that the following fights will be for titles: 1. Frampton 2. Purdy 3. Ochieng 4. Ryder So probably Conlan vs Edwards?
More likely to be Frampton v Kiko, Magee v Balzay, Lindsay v Selby and McCloskey and O'Kane in Celtic/EU/British title type fights.
Magee is more likely to fight abroad again I would have thought? **** knows who McC and O'kane will fight next. Hearn has a few decent Middleweights, so it will be interesting to see how he plans their routes. PP have odds up for the Olympics now as well :hey
title fights 4 belfast wil b framp v kiko, lindsay v selby, conlan v edwards and maybe magee v balzsay.id say mccloskey will be in a comeback fight and o,kane be in an 8 rounder
just whats been on the net word is kiko v famps hearn said hes goin after edwards for conlan lindsay selby is gone to piurse bids and id say hearn will outbid ****** for it magee v balszay is bein slated to be on the 22nd sept hearn said o'kane will be in an 8 rounder in his next fight just presuming mccloskey will be in a comeback confidence builder in his next outing
Sounds about right to me,Promises to be a great night. Would Magee headline do you think or would Hearn want Frampton to be the main man.Hard to headline a euro over a world fight.
