Didn't realise in the last olympics that Shiming Zou only beat Ouballi on countback after a 3-3 draw. Saying that, he beat him convincingly on other occasions. Goes to show that the french man is no mug on his day!

 

Good performance from Paddy but he'll have to be even sharper against the Indian. That guy fights at a lightning pace.

I'm more confident of nevin and Barnes medalling than Conlan.

Conlan did well but at times he was wild with his punches, needs to really tighten that up. I'm sure they'll work on it.

Barnes looked full of confidence in there, never looked pressured or panicked. I feel he was just easing himself in. I think he'll reach the final.
