    nah just pasted it.

Kidding aside the "Irish title" is just a belt given out by a private company, you could set one up tomorrow if you wish, it has little signifigance and does not even mean that you are the best in Ireland. The reason the British title is sought after is because there is good competition in a lot of divisions and it has a significant boxing heritage attached to it.

He retired from International Football so not to hinder his ability to continue playing for an English club is my understanding of it.

In that logic, winnin the world title means **** all too because that doesn't mean your the best in the world! The reason Martin Rogan wanted the Irish belt is because he wanted to be the Champion of his country! You keep missin the point, the Irish title means your the Champion of Ireland, like the World title means your the Champion of the world!

World title is thrown around too often as well as you know. However its not the same as the irish belt in a country with so few pros. Not at all. I think you know this already though.

He's 36 and represented Ireland 125 times.. proudly! You dont get paid for playing international football! And he didn't choose England over Ireland, he chose to keep his paying career goin. He could of been playing in Italy/Spain/Germany etc.

Despite the fact that your fake nose assertion in your avi makes me doubt your legitimacy as a poster, that was a solid post.
