Why cant you get what Im saying? Irishmen should be proud to win an Irish title! Are you not a fan of Irish Boxing? Andy Lee, went to America, was bein trained by that man in your avatar, was one of HBO's top 6 prospects, but came home to win that Irish belt.

Not really. There are plenty opportunities in Ireland for him to make money and if he left for Spain etc he is still choosing to play for another Country opposed to Ireland.

I get that and if I was a pro boxer that would be one of my initial goals, however there are many factors which can alter a career path, Framptons career has moved pretty fast, he already well past the point of going for am Irish title, it was probably not a priority for him but it won't stop me cheering for him.

We all know what McGuigan did but he has been a good ambassador for the sport and he's apparently interested in Nevin, he's seems to take care of his fighters unlike some other scumbag promoters

Read my first comment.. I said go pro and be a success! If you want to do that you have to be Mexican! For work, do you think Carl Frampton would of just moved to Britain just to represent them? Leave everything behind him? How old would he have been, for **** sake? How old was he when he had his first international? Or won his first senior title? And helmet??

I actually saw that about Nevin. And that Sauerland were after him too. But I'd love to see a promoter in Ireland sign up Nevin, Ward and Taylor (even though I'd kinda rather she retired) and put on shows with them around the country.. people will go to see them.
