Just heard Fury in Belfast isn't defo- they are planning to come to Belfast but nothing sorted yet?

Lads we have a club notes page now giving clubs a chance to spread the word about their weekly happenings ala GAA etc if you can tell you clubs to get in touch would be much appreciated and beneficial to both the sport and the local clubs.

tats a good interview... the boxing union of Ireland is run by a lot of aul stupid *******s...its time younger men with fresher ideas took over...mayb encourage bigger sponsers 2 get involved .. :good

 

Off topic a bit here now, but I've a very random request. Could anyone direct me to the results of the Irish under-21 finals from 2005? I've been trying google for a while, but if they're available I know one of the lads on here will know where. Moorser, Ardy, anyone?

 

Back on topic. Darren Cruise's career has been very disappointing of late. I don't think people realise how much of a prospect he was as an amateur. The stand out result for me was him beating Sean Turner in the under 21 final a few years back at heavyweight :shock:
He also won numerous other Irish titles.
Having stripped off the weight then I would have assumed he'd storm his way onto the pro scene, but he really has flattered to deceive. 3 losses now in a row. Disappointing

edit: just read that he was robbed in his last fight. But still...
