Kavanagh needs to learn defense in hurry. A+ chin and A+ heart though.

I didnt think his defence was that bad, jesus lads he is in a fight he is bound to take a few digs, think he is improving every fight imo and is power is developing nicely ! Onwards and upwards !

Wouldn't say A+ on the chin, he has a decent chin but has been wobbled a few times. What will happen when he gets hit by a big puncher?

Fookin hell that's a ban , did you nob her and not call her or something.

I though J Kav looked good but needs to tighten up a little, he got a lot of praises from the 2 commentators and Valadez'z coach saying he
Had a chin made of cement / concrete.

If he had some more power that fight could have been over in the 3 rd rnd

I guess we see things our own way. I saw him getting clean regularly with flush hard upper cuts, hooks and straights. Even in the first 30 seconds.
Looked like Valdarez landed about 50 power shots on Kavanagh that would have put a lot of fighters down. Ok there may be even bigger hitters but the sheer quantity of upper cuts landing on Jamie had me worried.
