Totally agree Paddy. Fortuna looked like a special talent prior to this fight, that is why I felt deep down that he would be far too much for Hyland. But, Hyland pressed the fight and although he lost he was the agressor throughout, he boxed brilliantly and made a top fighter look ordinary at times. He definitely passed that world level test and will be better for it too.

    Interesting WSB stuff this weekend.
Maxwell of Engalnd v's DOJ-did JJN give this a miss?
Conrad Cummings has a real tough one in Magomed Nurutdinov of Belarus who won World Silver and Euro Gold , Silver and Bronze in his career-he is however a welterweight and may be fading a little. Sean Turner has an unknown 18 year old Ukraining while Eric Donovan can get one over on JJN if he beats his conquerer Stankovic, who beat the Mulingar man on a close(lucky?) split decision.
Joe Ward has the good German Kunzel who is unbeaten in WSB-so far!

I don't know how anyone can say tha the surb was lucky to beat Nevin. This is WSB and in my opinion NEvin was fighting on the back foot and his opponent showed effective aggression. while Nevin landed some shots he got picked off himself and seemd to be running too much. I don't think Nevin would find it easy to adjust to the pro ranks if I am being honest. Just style wise. Nothing wrong with his skill which is world class but looks like he may get hurt with the pro style.
