Yeah, Joe Ward fights german i haven't heard much about, his origional opponent withdrew with injury. The most interesting fight though has to be David Oliver Joyce against the British lionhearts Samuel Maxwell which should start just after 8pm. there'll be a free legal stream on youtube aswell.

Really would like to see some of these lads turn over, they look like they would make good pros, lads like Donovan, McLoughlin, DO Joyce, Nevin and Turner .

Great performance by Donovan. He would make a great pro if he could sit down on his shots.

Davey Oliver won a split over Maxwell, Turner stopped on cuts in the 5th, was doing well in the first 2 but gassed a bit from 3 onward !

Turner has a pro friendly style too but needs to up the anti, and commitment.
Maybe get a strenght and conditioning coach too, and lock himself away. If he has the hunger for it he could go a long way.

I don't know if any of ye were keeping track of the Intermediates? This guy Dean Gardiner seems one to watch. SHW from Clonmel. Won the semi last week and the final last nite both by stoppage. Guy he stopped last nite lost on points to Sean Turner in the Under 23's. By all accounts he was very good underage and isn't long back in the game.

Wil he go down to Heavy for the Seniors, or could he even upset his clubmate Con Sheehan at SHW?
