Frampton did well Saturday and I am surprised about how much people remarked on how he got hit. He did get hit but not so much that it was a concern in my opinion. A pressure fighter like Kiko who was very brave on the night would have landed ony anyone over 9 rounds. As for Lindsey he was simply to small and not powerful enough to cope with Selby but his heart and chin are world class. And as for Lee - well I think I can sum up the bad in one, loaded sentence. Th,e Andy Lee 22 year old version would have knocked out the Andy Lee we saw on Saturday night. Does that make sense to anyone? Only way back for Lee now is if he goes through the tape and realises he 1- continued the same flaws by backing up to the ropes 2- failed to throw combos 3- failed to establish the centre of the ring. I really do think the Andy Lee who fought the likes of Jason McKay was a fluid come forward fighter who use to throw devastating combinations. I think the has a very deep rooted psychological issue since the Vera fight. Something has not been diagnosed there. This guy has potential but its sinking to the bottom of the occean. Lets see if he can bimself and Booth can be honest enough to acknowledge that and do something drastically to fix it.
Agree with all of that, spot on. 2013 could be the breakthrough year for Jamie, both Conlan brothers are really pushing each other. Lindsay will come again, you just have to acknowledge he was beat by a world class operator who was also a lot bigger, I would like to see Lindsay-Simpson 2.
Makes perfect sense for Framptons next undercard. On their recent performances, Pajo should fancy it.

So by the sounds of it, we should definitely see Lee fighting Macklin or Barker next. I'd be very disappointed in Lee if he doesn't fight one of these two. There are no obstacles really. Both guys want to fight Lee, Lee and Macklin are promoted by DiBella and Hearn has said he wants to make Lee v Barker.
I think Id rather see Lee get one or two more tune up's in before he faces one of them. There could of been alot of factors as to why Lee looked so poor. I think he could do with a bit more time with Booth before he takes a big fight like that.
I dont think Lee will fight Macklin next. Listening to him interviewed on the radio last night he was asked directly about fighting in May and he said something along the lines of: 'I have no problem fighting Matthew but Id would ideally prefer to have 1 or 2 more fights with Adam (Booth) in my corner, but we'll be talking with macklins camp in the coming days and see what comes of it'.
He hasn't fought in over a year. Patrick has been busy and has a bit of a profile. I don't think a Belfast crowd would give a monkeys **** about Lindsay v Paul Hyland. Lindsay v Patrick, who had a high profile fight, would make more sense to me in terms of selling tickets.
Andy def. needs another few fights with booth before he tackles top men like Barker or Macklin, maybe come July or August he might be ready.
