Official statement said JJN was breaking up a fight between his uncle and 2 cousins. The cousins then attacked him using a golf club and a piece of wood.

He should leave Ireland and set up in America. Its where he'll be fighting anyway. He doesnt need all the **** he'll have to put up with back home.

Well OK if things are really bad he may have to go.

How about this for an idea though: Before he goes he uses his high profile to give something back - and he speaks out against this type of ****.
This is an opportunity for Nevin to show what he is made of. He owes the rest of us that much, at least.

It complicated I know - but heres my 2 cents worth lads, alright?

In a civilised society every citizen owes a duty of care and respect to each other.
That doesnt stop just because you get "rich", or "famous" or win medals etc.
    If anything your responsibility increases.

What Nevin and his family are involved in is a cancer in our society. Too right he owes us all to at least use his fame to put in an effort to stop it.

    Me neither.

He got to where he is in life through hard work, dedication and talent.

He doesnt owe people something just because someone says he does.

Well lads, the good news for ye is that the vast majority of your fellow citizens see things the same way you guys do.

Which might explain a lot about the state of affairs here....

So he was trying to break up a fight and got attacked.

This means hes "involved" in something??

Get off your high horse and quit thinking people owe you something for nothing.

I think its far more to do with people who think they "deserve" seomething from people that is ruining the country than your belief that people dont help out.
