picked the wrong day to be sick :? I'm stuck at home having to watch this on the box now instead of being there. Gutted.

Just saw the full line up. For **** sake what is the craic with Kiko Martinez. He never fights anyone useful anymore (not that his level of opposition was great pre Bernard and Munroe). I don't get him at all

Looking forward to Sutherland doing the business though. Hopefully he gives us a round or two before putting his man away.

Booth v Hughes coming up. I think I'll go for a nap :patsch

Good crowd there tonight. A short night's work for Sutherland but that was only to be expected against a guy with a 1-4 record. The Munroe fight was shaping up to be a good scrap but the Italian had to give up after injuring himself. The Martinez fight was nothing to write home about, he was always on top but never looked like putting his man away.

Hyland looked classy and Darren did what he had to do...and in style. Roll on 2009!

Hyland needs to fight someone good before I get too excited about him. Time for him to step up and face someone of a bit better quality and also someone who can actually bang a bit

Superb performance from Darren tonight, but a 2 month gap till his next fight. Whats that all about:huh. At this rate he will be lucky to have five fights in a year. Hes no spring chicken, get a move on frank.:nono

Thanks Cormac, did you enjoy the fights last night.Sutherland looked so much bigger than the last time I seen box live, which was at the Stadium senior finals night. He looked good but had little to beat.

I thought Egan should have turned pro, and milked his medal for all its worth. As you rightly stated he will have stiff opposition in the years to come to be Irish champion. I hope he wont regret this decision.:hi:
